Lymphamate (pressotherapy)

Lymphamate is a system for variable compression therapy. The 12 cuff chambers are alternately filled with air until the required pressure is reached in the upper chamber. After that, the pressure in all the chambers simultaneously drops, and after a while the air injection cycle is repeated.

Therapeutic effect:

  • Improving tissue trophism, eliminating stagnation in them
  • Acceleration of venous and lymphatic outflow
  • Increasing skin elasticity and turgor
  • Improving the blood supply to periarticular tissues
  • Strengthening the secretory function of the synovial membrane
  • Improving the tone of venous, lymphatic vessels
Indications:
  1. Edema of lymphatic and venous origin
  2. Chronic venous insufficiency
  3. Post-traumatic edema
  4. Edema due to arthritis
  5. Trophic ulcer of the leg (with and without edema)
  6. Thrombosis prophylaxis
Contraindications:
  1. Acute inflammation of the veins (thrombophlebitis)
  2. Acute inflammatory skin diseases
  3. Pulmonary edema
  4. Acute deep vein thrombosis (phlebothrombosis)
  5. Uncompensated Heart Failure
  6. Malignant tumors
  7. Erysipelas
  8. Disruption of blood supply in the arteries
The course of treatment is 5-10 procedures.
The duration of the procedure is 15 minutes.
